The biodegradable gloves from MEDBRUN EXPERT BIO are an initiative of Monuite that contribute to a better environment. It is our contribution to providing a solution for the disposal of nitrile gloves.

What is the technology?

MedBrun’s drop-in technology is integrated into the existing manufacturing process without compromising product quality. It consists of an organic additive that accelerates the rate of biodegradation of gloves in biologically active soils and anaerobic digesters.

How does it work?

MEDBRUN EXPERT BIO is a polymerized “food source” specially formulated to attract microbes primarily found in soil. This method of biodegradation is purely enzymatic.

When bacteria consume the MEDBRUN EXPERT BIO material, they secrete an enzyme that breaks down and depolymerizes the polymer chain, allowing the microbes to naturally break down the remaining polymer.

MEDBRUN EXPERT BIO gloves are proven to be safe for use on the skin according to ISO standards as well as for food handling.
